La Nebulosa Razza (Stingray Nebula) è una nebulosa planetaria situata nella costellazione australe dell’Altare, a circa 18.000 anni luce dalla Terra. Al centro della Nebulosa Razza – così chiamata perché la sua forma ricorda una razza marina – si trova la stella SAO 244567, una nana bianca in rapida evoluzione. Questo ha influenzato la luminosità e la struttura della nebulosa, che ha mostrato un rapido affievolimento e alterazioni nella forma in un arco temporale sorprendentemente breve.
